Rotational Moulding Operator

Advantage are currently recruiting a Rotational Moulding Operator for one of our Manufacturing clients, based in the Bradford area. This is a temporary ongoing role.

As a Rotational Moulding Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process. You will be responsible for operating and overseeing rotational moulding machines, ensuring the production of top-notch products that meet our quality standards. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and dedication to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment will be key to your success in this role.

Main duties

  • ·Set up and operate rotational moulding machines according to product specifications and production schedules.
  • Load raw materials into moulds, secure moulds in the machines, and start the moulding process.
  • Monitor and adjust machine parameters to ensure consistent product quality and avoid defects.
  • Perform regular inspections of moulds and equipment, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
  • Trim, finish, and inspect moulded products to meet quality standards.
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets efficiently.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and offer suggestions to enhance productivity and product quality.

Candidate requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not essential. Training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-conscious mindset.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good physical stamina to handle the demands of operating machinery and handling products.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Working Hours

  • 48 hours over 4 days (Monday to Thursday)
  • 12-hour shift (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
