FULL DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a hands-on Integration Test Manager/Engineer to lead and oversee the design, coordination and effective execution of integration testing across the sub-systems involved in a large warehouse automation project.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a hands-on Integration Test Manager/Engineer to lead and oversee the design, coordination and effective execution of integration testing (offsite and onsite) across the sub-systems involved in a large warehouse automation project.

The sub-systems involved in the solution include:

  • WCS (Warehouse Control System) Software
  • Interface to ERP system
  • Automated Crate Storage & Retrieval System
  • Automated Pallet Storage System
  • Automated Crate Sortation System
  • Automated Robot Cells
  • Automated Routing via Conveyors and AMR’s

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare a clear integration test strategy and plan to address the technical delivery risks inherent within the scope of the project to facilitate a smooth operational go live and ramp up.
  • Analyse Integration Test requirements from Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and ensure alignment with Business Requirements from CPD (User Requirements) and MFD.
  • Prepare comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and documentation for all integration testing activities bringing together Software Testing, Automated Equipment Testing and associated Functional Testing.
  • Identify and manage all Integration Testing dependencies, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  • Ensure test environments for integration are prepared according to schedule and function as expected, maintaining synchronisation across systems.
  • Oversee the preparation and validation of test data and test products required for all integration testing activities.
  • Lead and execute integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.
