FULL DESCRIPTION
/ quantity surveyor /
Due to continued growth and the award of new projects, we are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. Working closely with the Commercial Director, Contracts Manager, and project teams, you will play a key role in the effective commercial management of fast-paced, high-quality Design & Build projects from pre-construction through to final account.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent relevant qualification
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong working knowledge of JCT Design & Build contracts
- Proven experience managing cost plans, valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Experience procuring subcontractors and negotiating commercial appointments
- Strong understanding of cost control, forecasting, CVRs, and cashflow management
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Windows OS (ASTA experience beneficial)
- SMSTS and CSCS (advantageous but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence
