FULL DESCRIPTION
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a BIM lead Co-ordinator to join our team in Manchester. Candidates that are interested in this role must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in modelling mechanical and electrical systems and have a strong knowledge of how services are installed within a building.

Duties and Responsibilities
- MEP services modelling using Revit including plantrooms and pre-fabrication
- Production of detailed drawing sheets
- Managing the updating of drawings to as built status
- Following of technical manuals and QA documentation
- Using Revit templates to set up drawing sheets
- Reviewing models and performing clash detection reports
- Sourcing of technical information
- QAing of model and drawing production
- Liaising with clients
- Mentoring junior employees
- Leading of small to medium sized teams
- Reviewing project progression
- Attending project meetings
- Ensuring programs and deadlines are met
Key Requirements
- A clear and strong understanding of Revit is required.
- Must be experienced and confident using Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD and have experience working in common data environments.
- Must be able to deliver highly detailed installation drawings for the onsite delivery team.
- Must be an effective communicator and confident with client liaison.
- Must be able to mentor technicians.
- Must have strong Engineering knowledge to identify and resolve problems.
- Must understand project finances.
