FULL DESCRIPTION

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a BIM lead Co-ordinator to join our team in Manchester. Candidates that are interested in this role must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in modelling mechanical and electrical systems and have a strong knowledge of how services are installed within a building.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • MEP services modelling using Revit including plantrooms and pre-fabrication
  • Production of detailed drawing sheets
  • Managing the updating of drawings to as built status
  • Following of technical manuals and QA documentation
  • Using Revit templates to set up drawing sheets
  • Reviewing models and performing clash detection reports
  • Sourcing of technical information
  • QAing of model and drawing production
  • Liaising with clients
  • Mentoring junior employees
  • Leading of small to medium sized teams
  • Reviewing project progression
  • Attending project meetings
  • Ensuring programs and deadlines are met

Key Requirements

  • A clear and strong understanding of Revit is required.
  • Must be experienced and confident using Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD and have experience working in common data environments.
  • Must be able to deliver highly detailed installation drawings for the onsite delivery team.
  • Must be an effective communicator and confident with client liaison.
  • Must be able to mentor technicians.
  • Must have strong Engineering knowledge to identify and resolve problems.
  • Must understand project finances.
