St Dennis Pharmacy is a dedicated community pharmacy serving the residents of Clay Country in mid-Cornwall. Our mission is to provide compassionate and comprehensive healthcare services, emphasizing patient well-being and medication safety.

We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our team in mid-Cornwall. This vital role involves ensuring accurate medication dispensing and delivering exceptional patient care, supporting our commitment to community health and wellness.

Location: Pharmacy is based in St Austell which is located near A30 - straight 4 hrs drive to either London or Birmingham. Newquay airport is 20 mins away. All big shops such as Marks Spencer and Next Retail Area are located nearby. Very close to EDEN Project. Carlyon Bay beach is 10 mins away and sea view from the accommodation provided.

Accommodation: Accommodation is provided in a beautiful flat above the pharmacy with sea view.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently while adhering to legal and safety standards.
• Provide expert advice to patients on medication use, potential side effects, and health concerns.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans.
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Educate patients about health management and medication adherence.
• Maintain detailed records of prescriptions and patient interactions.
• Stay updated on pharmaceutical developments and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Pharmacist with registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Proven experience in patient care and medication management.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, pharmacology, and medication administration.
• Excellent communication skills with a caring approach.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Prior experience in a community pharmacy setting is preferred.
