### Role Snapshot

Location: Herefordshire (hybrid working available) ⏰ Hours: 37 hours per week (full time) Rate: £40-£45 per hour Contract: Interim / Contract

### About the Role

You’ll play a key role in delivering core licensing functions, working closely with internal teams and partner agencies to ensure compliance, enforcement, and public safety.

### Key Experience Sought

- Strong working knowledge of licensing legislation, including: - Taxi Licensing - Licensing Act 2003 - Experience with enforcement procedures, including PACE - Confident liaising with external bodies such as: - Police - Trading Standards - DVSA, HMRC, VOSA - Ability to produce clear, professional: - Reports - Letters - Emails for varied audiences (public, members, officers, agencies) - Excellent record keeping and case management skills - Understanding of how Licensing interacts with wider local authority services

### Additional Requirements

- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle - Flexibility to carry out monitoring visits, including outside standard hours when required
