Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
City & Guilds 706/1 & 706/ 2 or equivalent
Experience in catering for people with varying dietary needs
Experience in catering for large numbers of people

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals that meet the dietary requirements of residents.
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen at all times.
Plan menus that reflect the preferences and nutritional needs of residents.
Manage kitchen staff effectively, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
Oversee food production processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and order ingredients as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating nutritious meals.
Ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining a positive work environment.
Good communication skills to interact with staff and residents.
