SEN Teaching assistant - Kettering

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We're seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join inclusive and supportive schools across the Kettering area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the classroom while developing your skills within a nurturing school environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
  • Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.
  • Support pupils with communication, sensory, and emotional development.
  • Assist with classroom organisation and inclusive learning activities.

What We're Looking For

  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN, autism, or learning difficulties is highly desirable.
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is an advantage but not essential.
