Hairdressing Salon Manager
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Salon Manager to oversee the day to day operations of a salon and lead on creating innovative hairstyles.
- Assist in the day to day running of the salon
- Styling clients hair to a high standard
- Manage and supervise salon staff
- Delivering high customer service and an exceptional customer experience
- Create and maintain a professional, clean, organised and friendly salon environment
- Train and mentor staff on new techniques and trends
- Schedule appointments and manage the salons appointment diary
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring product are readily available for clients, and ordering products.
- Stay updated with the latest hair trends and recommend new services and products to enhance the salons offerings
- Ensure compliance of all health and safety regulations
The successful candidate must have:
- A minimum of 2 years experience managing a busy hair salon and leading a team of junior hairstylist
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Styling Afro-Caribbean natural hair and knowledge of protective hair technique
- Expert level hair styling in sew-in weaves, installing lace closures/frontals, wig making, hair bleaching, colouring and lace tinting.
- Knowledge of current and emerging hair trends, products and styles
- Passionate, confident, creative and enthusiastic
