Fire Engineer (Senior to Principal)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compliant and complex fire strategies on a variety of projects
• Manage and develop client relationships and project portfolios
• Contribute to the technical development and mentoring of fire engineers
• Support the growth and establishment of the Manchester fire engineering team
• Apply and help develop proprietary and industry-leading fire engineering software tools
• Collaborate with architects, regulators, contractors, and internal technical teams
• Contribute to work-winning, proposals, and strategic growth initiatives

What they’re looking for

• Degree in Fire Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, or a related discipline
• Experience delivering fire engineering services within a consultancy environment
• Strong technical grounding across performance-based design and compliance
• For Principal / Associate level: experience mentoring staff and supporting team or office growth
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage projects profitably
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
