Our client is a specialist fire-safety and technical consultancy working at the forefront of façade compliance for high-risk, multi-occupied buildings.

As a technical consultant, you’ll be responsible for site surveys and producing technical reports for the Fire Safety elements of Façade Systems.

You will be on site as an independent construction assessor and tasked to support the developers/main contractors with the Facades Packages, as well as being involved with the Drylining and Fire Stopping.

You’ll be delivering façade and cladding inspections, remediation support, and assisting with PAS 9980–aligned FRAEW assessments.

We are now seeking a Technical Façade Engineer to join their expanding technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a façade specialist looking to advance their career in external-wall fire safety and contribute to high-impact national projects.

What you’ll be doing:

• Conducting intrusive and non-intrusive façade inspections
• Supporting the production of PAS 9980 / FRAEW reports
• Evaluating cladding systems, insulation, cavity barriers, fixings, brackets, and interface details
• Providing technical recommendations to support compliance and remediation strategies
• Working collaboratively with engineers, surveyors, fire specialists, and project stakeholders
• Contributing to projects from initial surveys through to final reporting

What they’re looking for:

• A degree in Façade Engineering, Fire Engineering, or a related discipline
• Experience with façade systems, cladding materials, or external-wall fire-safety assessments
• Knowledge of PAS 9980, external-wall fire regulations, and UK building standards
• Excellent technical reporting and site-inspection skills
• A detail-driven, proactive, and adaptable approach across varied building types
