Test Analyst – Web & Mobile Applications

They are seeking a hands-on Test Analyst with a strong eye for detail, used to working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test both mobile apps (iOS & Android) and websites to ensure flawless delivery.
  • Plan, design, and execute test cases across functional, regression, cross-browser, and cross-device scenarios.
  • Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution using tools such as Jira or equivalent.
  • Liaise with developers, project managers, and clients to clarify requirements and align on quality expectations.
  • Conduct usability, accessibility, and compatibility testing for UK client standards.
  • Manage multiple testing projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain detailed test documentation, including plans, cases, and reports.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years testing both mobile and web applications.
  • Strong experience with cross-browser and responsive design testing.
  • Familiarity with UK accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
  • Experience using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ideally with client-facing experience.

Desirable Skills:

  • Automation testing experience (Selenium, Appium).
  • API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
