Care Coordinator Job in Watford
As a Domiciliary Care Coordinator in Watford, you’ll play a vital role in leading, organising, and supporting a growing team of carers to deliver high-quality care to elderly and vulnerable clients across the community.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where your leadership, organisation, and passion for care will directly impact our clients’ lives.
You’ll oversee the coordination of care services, manage rotas, conduct assessments, and ensure compliance—all while helping the business grow sustainably and compassionately.
Duties
- Manage weekly rotas for 700+ care hours across your team
- Lead, support, and mentor care staff to maintain high-quality service delivery
- Conduct client risk assessments and care plan assessments
- Take on new clients and expand care packages as needed
- Deliver hands-on care in emergencies or during staff shortages
- Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota
- Use care systems like Birdie (or similar) to manage care records
- Confidently handle Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook); SharePoint experience is a bonus

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Organised, motivated, and confident managing a team
- Experienced in domiciliary care and team coordination
- Familiar with care planning, risk assessment, and rota management
- Calm under pressure and a great communicator
- Passionate about delivering outstanding care
- Holds a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
- Has a full UK driving licence and access to a car
