The Role:
Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will ensure full CQC compliance while mentoring our dedicated Care Assistants. This is a fast-paced, "hands-on" role that balances office-based coordination with field-based quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance: Conduct new client assessments, risk assessments, and tailored care plans.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and coach Care Assistants; manage inductions and ongoing training.
- Compliance: Maintain meticulous records and ensure all services meet CQC "Good" or "Outstanding" standards.
- Community Engagement: Build relationships with healthcare professionals and referral sources.
- Operations: Manage the on-call rota (on a shared basis) and provide emergency care cover when required.
About You:
We are looking for a leader with the determination to push our business to the next level. You should be calm under pressure, highly organised, and an expert communicator.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience: Substantial experience in providing care for vulnerable adults and previous supervisory/management experience.
- Qualifications: Minimum NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Social Care (or working towards it).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of CQC assessment criteria and domiciliary care legislation.
- Logistics: Must have a full UK Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle.
- Skills: Proficient in IT, excellent time management, and the ability to handle difficult discussions with professionalism.
