To support this continued transformation, we’re looking for an experienced Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement cloud‑based solutions that enhance security, performance, and operational efficiency.

You will report directly to the Cloud & Infrastructure Manager and play a key role in shaping APFN’s future technology landscape.

What you will be doing:

  • Modifying and improving existing systems for optimal performance.
  • Design, develop, and deploy on premise & cloud-based systems.
  • Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
  • Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
  • Identify, analyse, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
  • Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Interact with IT and Business stakeholders, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on project needs
  • Ensure cloud Finops controls are in place and maintained in line with budgets
  • Work closely with the Cyber Security team to maintain and improve operational security

Your Skills:

  • Experience developing, implementing, and supporting cloud technologies and applications
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, developers, and subject‑matter experts
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure; certification and demonstrable practical experience are desirable
  • Hands‑on experience with AWS; certification and proven production experience are desirable
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and applications across platforms
