A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to help shape the growth of a forward‑thinking engineering and manufacturing business at the forefront of eMobility and hydrogen system integration. With a strong reputation for quality and a rapidly expanding customer base, this role is ideal for a driven, commercially minded individual who enjoys identifying opportunities, building relationships and winning new business.

The Business Development Manager will:

  • Build a strong understanding of the company's engineering, manufacturing and product capabilities.
  • Identify and validate new customers and market opportunities for the business.
  • Engage new prospects, follow up leads and explore opportunities with existing accounts.
  • Work closely with customers to define scopes of work, deliverables and technical requirements.
  • Prepare high‑quality customer quotations and commercial proposals.
  • Use the CRM system to manage customer information and interactions.
  • Maintain the sales funnel and business development metrics to track progress and performance.

The Business Development Manager will have:

  • Extensive experience in the niche vehicle, e‑mobility and/or hydrogen fuel cell industries.
  • Strong ability to present reports and commercial information to C‑suite and board‑level stakeholders.
  • Experience using and maintaining CRM systems and sales funnel reporting tools.
  • A degree‑level qualification (or equivalent) ideally in engineering, science, business or technology.
  • Experience working within an SME and supporting business growth.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adaptable, resilient and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
