The Business Development Manager will:
- Build a strong understanding of the company's engineering, manufacturing and product capabilities.
- Identify and validate new customers and market opportunities for the business.
- Engage new prospects, follow up leads and explore opportunities with existing accounts.
- Work closely with customers to define scopes of work, deliverables and technical requirements.
- Prepare high‑quality customer quotations and commercial proposals.
- Use the CRM system to manage customer information and interactions.
- Maintain the sales funnel and business development metrics to track progress and performance.
The Business Development Manager will have:
- Extensive experience in the niche vehicle, e‑mobility and/or hydrogen fuel cell industries.
- Strong ability to present reports and commercial information to C‑suite and board‑level stakeholders.
- Experience using and maintaining CRM systems and sales funnel reporting tools.
- A degree‑level qualification (or equivalent) ideally in engineering, science, business or technology.
- Experience working within an SME and supporting business growth.
- Self‑motivated, proactive and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adaptable, resilient and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
