We are seeking a highly capable Control Systems Test & Validation Engineer - HV Systemsto contribute to the development of advanced battery technologies used across a range of innovative electrification programmes. This role sits within a fast‑moving engineering environment where rigorous testing, robust controls, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving are essential.

Control Systems Test & Validation Engineer - HV Systems

The Control Systems Test & Validation Engineer - HV Systemswill:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Controls, or a closely related discipline.
  • Proven experience developing and operating MiL/SiL/HiL environments, including test automation and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Strong capability in producing and executing verification and validation plans for embedded control systems.
  • Excellent documentation skills to support software deployment, production release and certification processes.
  • A solid understanding of battery control systems including supervisory logic, BMS and CMUs, with the ability to diagnose issues through system behaviour analysis.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to influence stakeholders across all organisational levels.

The Control Systems Test & Validation Engineer - HV Systemswill:

  • Experience producing calibration/tuning sets and preparing production‑ready software parameters.
  • Ability to develop HMIs, GUIs or interactive tools for operating HiL rigs and test environments.
  • Understanding of dynamic modelling and its application to real‑time test harnesses.
  • Familiarity with CAN, LIN, Ethernet and associated diagnostic/logging tools.
  • Knowledge of software calibration workflows, version control and release processes.
  • Experience with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) and certification frameworks across automotive, marine, aerospace and industrial sectors.
