FULL DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Expeditor to play a vital role in ensuring materials, components, and services flow smoothly through the supply chain to support engineering, manufacturing, and project delivery activities. This is a fast‑paced, supplier‑facing position where you’ll be right at the centre of operational execution, driving purchase orders, maintaining system accuracy, and keeping production moving without delay.

TheExpeditor will:

  • Proactively chase suppliers for updates on order status, lead times, and delivery commitments to keep production on track.
  • Ensure all purchase orders are accurately raised, acknowledged, and maintained within the ERP/MRP system.
  • Track orders from placement through to delivery, identifying risks, delays, and escalating issues appropriately.
  • Drive supplier delivery performance through daily communication via phone and email.
  • Resolve delivery issues such as shortages, late shipments, incorrect quantities, or documentation errors.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement, planning, engineering, and production teams to align priorities and maintain clear visibility of critical orders.

The Expeditor will have:

  • Experience in an Expeditor, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Materials Coordination role.
  • Confidence to challenge suppliers, drive accountability, and influence delivery outcomes.
  • Competence working with ERP/MRP systems and managing purchase orders accurately.
  • Attention to detail with strong organisational skills and a focus on accuracy.
  • A proactive, delivery‑focused mindset with the ability to take ownership and see tasks through.
  • Resilience in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple priorities across engineering or manufacturing operations.

If you’re someone who enjoys taking control, solving supply‑chain challenges, and ensuring critical materials arrive exactly when they’re needed, this role offers a chance to make a real operational impact. We’d love to hear from you if you're ready to step into a role where your work genuinely makes a difference.
