FULL DESCRIPTION

Head of Production

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a Head of Production to oversee five sites, ten lines, and three distribution hubs. The role involves hands-on leadership, modernizing processes, and contributing to the company's goal of cleaner and more efficient manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have experience in multi-site operations and possess strong leadership skills.

Head of Production

(UK & Ireland | £50k–£70k + car + bonus)

[Employer hidden]’s fast-moving and ambitious. We give people autonomy and back them to get on with it.”

– Connor McCandless, Managing Director

If you like being trusted to make things better, not just keep them ticking, you’ll probably like it here.

[Employer hidden] makes energy-efficient insulation products across the UK and Ireland. The company’s growing fast with new product lines, new kit and more investment. They just need someone to pull the production side together and make it run sharper.

You’ll report to the Finance Director and take charge of five sites, ten lines, three distribution hubs and around a dozen people who know their jobs inside out. They just need more consistency, better systems and a bit of stretch.

You’ll need to be hands-on. The kind of leader who’s as comfortable on the factory floor as in a board meeting. Someone who earns respect by showing up, listening and knowing when to roll their sleeves up.

It’s not broken, but there is room for improvement. Some days you’ll be sorting shift patterns or fixing bottlenecks. Other days you’ll be with the MD and Innovation Director planning for the next product launch.

You’ll modernise processes, cut waste and help deliver on the company’s goal of making manufacturing cleaner and more efficient. Do it well and this role could grow into something bigger, potentially board level, covering engineering, quality and H&S as the business scales.

Ideally, you’ll have run multi-site operations before, maybe in building materials, thermoplastics or aerospace supply. But if this looks like the right step up and you’ve got the leadership skills, drive and credibility to make it work, that’s worth a conversation.

The offer:

  • £50k–£70k (depending on experience)
  • Company vehicle
  • 10% bonus
  • 20 days holiday + statutory days
  • Regular travel across UK & Ireland sites
