The role involves conducting accurate stocktakes of food, drink, and spirits across licensed premises, producing detailed reports, and providing business insight and stock control advice. The role requires travel across the UK and offers a day rate plus mileage.

We’re looking for experienced hospitality professionals to join our stocktaking team. If you’ve managed or supervised food and beverage operations and understand the importance of stock

Our advertised role will be a day-rated position which includes a Car Allowance.

About the Role

As a [Employer hidden] Stock Auditor, you’ll:

  • Conduct accurate stocktakes of food, drink, and spirits across a variety of licensed premises
  • Perform ABV tests and analyse results
  • Produce clear, detailed reports using Word and Excel
  • Debrief clients with results, providing business insight and stock control advice
  • Travel to different venues daily (own vehicle and UK driving licence required)
  • Work early starts, with occasional overnight stays

What We’re Looking For

  • Current or recent experience in pubs, hotels, bars, or other licensed venues
  • Solid understanding of F&B stock processes
  • Confident communicator with a professional approach
  • Comfortable with basic IT systems (Word, Excel)
  • Eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy

  • Day rate: £105.74 (increasing to £116.31 after 6 months’ probation)
  • Mileage paid at government advisory rates (45p for the first 833 miles per month, 25p thereafter)
