Job Title: Vehicle Technician
Salary: £44,100, +benefits
Working hours: Full time, Monday to Friday 42.5 hours. Every one in three Saturdays paid as overtime

Job Purpose:
To maintain, inspect, repair and test customers’ vehicles to the prescribed standards in accordance with the Department for Transport, Manufacturer and Operator licence Criteria.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
- Carrying out service, diagnosis and repair of vehicles to excellent standards
- Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work
- Maintaining thorough and up to date product knowledge
- Replacing components
- Speaking with customers on occasion to provide your expert, technical opinion
- Using specialist equipment such as electrical and electronic diagnostics
- Engine tuning equipment to measure performance
- Rectifying faults on customer’s vehicles in a busy workshop
- Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals
