FULL DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our human resources practices and processes. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team while ensuring a positive, productive, and compliant workplace for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.
- Manage the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process to attract and retain top talent.
- Oversee employee relations, providing guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Design and deliver training and development programs to support employee growth and career progression.
- Drive initiatives that promote employee engagement, wellbeing, and a positive company culture.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Support management with workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational development.
- Monitor HR metrics and provide reports to inform decision-making.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain high levels of confidentiality.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR role within the UK.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong decision-making and organisational skills.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience preferred.
