What you'll be doing:
Every day, you'll be making a difference working with adults for the provision of community-based adult services in the borough of Walsall, providing support to both males and females. Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, bathing, preparing meals, mobility assistance, escorting duties, etc. Providing support service and support with outings for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health issues.
Candidates must be flexible to work on a rota basis over a 7-day period including weekends and/or evenings. Morning shifts can start between 6 am and end at 3 pm. Evening shifts start at 3 pm and finish between 10 pm and 11 pm. Flexibility is essential to the job role and times above may vary.
Desirable traits:
Training and experience equivalent to Level 2 in Health and Social Care would be beneficial. Non-drivers will only be considered if they are willing to travel to care visits independently.
Experience or qualification of working with autism, learning disabilities and dementia would be desirable.
