FULL DESCRIPTION

A B2B insurance provider is seeking a Marketing Manager to manage a small team and develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that support the growth of a key insurance product.

This role is a 14 month contract starting in February 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with business unit heads on marketing strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives and target audience preferences.
  • Develops and implements comprehensive marketing strategies to promote insurance products and services.
  • Oversees campaign execution across various channels such as digital platforms, events, email, and print and potentially social media; ensures cohesive messaging and consistent brand representation
  • Serves as advisor to the senior management, presenting campaign results, recommendations, and strategic initiatives to support business growth and objectives.
  • Monitors marketing metrics and KPIs to evaluate campaign effectiveness, optimizes strategies, and provides actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Stays updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes within the specialty insurance market to ensure marketing strategies remain relevant and competitive.
  • Identifies emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning, provides insights to senior management to support informed decision making on marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Fosters a collaborative and high-performing work environment and facilitates professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years marketing experience in (re)insurance or financial services / B2B
  • Construction / property experience would be an advantage
  • Multi-channel campaign experience is essential
  • Outstanding strategic planning skills.
  • Line management experience is also vital for this role
  • Creativity, passion, energy, and a bias towards action.
  • Ability to think proactively and challenge common practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on-time.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional marketing and communications project and project teams.
  • Excellent communications - writing and verbal - skills.
