Business Development Manager – EMEA Lead

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a commercially aware, dynamic Business Development Manager to focus on the European marketplace. The role involves managing clients who trade internationally, requiring travel throughout the UK and Europe. Responsibilities include owning the sales process, contributing to marketing initiatives, managing prospect data, pre-sales coordination, and contract management. The candidate will need to meet sales targets, report activities in CRM, attend industry events, and work with the marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Holding an annual target (broken into 4 quarters) and maintaining a consistent sales commitment strategy.
  • Report activities in our CRM system, to keep up to weekly and monthly KPI’s.
  • Attend, host and take on public speaking invitations in the tax technology community.
  • Support the commercial team with organic growth/sales opportunities.
  • Manage required client training programmes.
  • Work with the marketing team to schedule new concepts, products and solutions and introduce them to existing and new clients

3 Month Deliverable:

  • Map out Target ICP Oracle R12/Oracle Cloud ERP users
  • Position e-Invoicing services portfolio
  • Pipeline build
  • Introduce yourself to our Parter Community
  • Provide partners with a value prop to help support growth.
  • General:
  • Build Social Media Presence
  • Build personal contact book.

6 Month Probationary Target:

  • C.£500k qualified (SQL) pipeline recorded.
  • Clear understanding of Value Props and demonstrable knowledge of our business.
  • Outbound activities recorded as On-Target.

Secondary Responsibilities

Over time, the role holder would be expected to develop a social profile that reflects the core value of our business and promotes all product and service lines.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating between clients, the project team and the sales teams.

  • Confidence and tenacity to look to seek answers and solutions to our clients’ issues or requests.

Experience

  • Previous Client Management and Sales experience.
  • Financial and commercial client management.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Microsoft Office: including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience of working with Global brands/clients
