Job Title: Lifting Supervisor

Job Type: Temporary

Location: Norwich

Rate of pay: Paye £22, Umbrella £30, CIS £30. Overtime rates for weekends, night shifts and bank holidays

Lifting Supervisor

ARC are currently looking for an experienced lifting supervisor. For this position, you must have the following: • Lifting Supervisor certification (CPCS / NPORS or equivalent) • CSCS Card – Supervisor level • LOLER awareness training

Desirable: • Appointed Person qualification • Slinger / Signaller or Rigging certification • SMSTS or SSSTS • Temporary Works awareness

This temporary work for a Lifting supervisor is for a minimum duration of 1 year, on a civils project in Norwich.

There will be different shift times and days, dependant on the project schedule.

Skills & Competencies required

• Minimum 15 years’ experience supervising lifting operations in construction or infrastructure projects. • Proven experience in heavy and complex lifting operations. • Experience with civil works, shaft construction, and sheet piling. • Desirable experience in trenchless works such as Direct Pipe, microtunnelling, or pipe jacking

• Strong knowledge of lifting regulations and best practice • Ability to supervise complex and high-risk lifting operations • Excellent communication and coordination skills • Assertive approach to stopping unsafe work • Strong planning and organisational capability
