Title: Senior Credit Controller

Salary: £23,000 to £25,000 depending on experience

Hours: 8:30am – 5pm, however, negotiable for the right person.

Tasks:

• ·Posting all incoming payments and chasing overdue debt.
• ·Monitor and update sales ledger using the debtors report with comments, call references and dates which the calls were made to keep a detailed log.
• ·Provide information/copy invoices as requested
• ·Run debtors listing report weekly – using VLOOKUP formula
• ·Processing, posting and allocating credit card and cash payments
• ·Ensuring all invoicing queries are forwarded and resolved by the relevant department
• ·Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
• ·Regularly making contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary
• ·Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries
• ·Providing ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management
• ·Responsibility for own ledger
• ·Deal with queries and manage through to resolution
• ·Account reconciliation
• ·Take card payments over phone

Personal:

• ·At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
• ·General accounts, sales ledger and credit control experience.
• ·Understanding of the Credit Control Process.
• ·Able to organise multiple tasks quickly and efficiently
• ·Excellent telephone and written communication skills.
• ·Motivated and enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service.
• ·Experience of working as a strong team player.
