Role Purpose
This role is responsible for driving enterprise revenue from the UK and European markets into African corridors. It aims to position our company as the preferred infrastructure partner for cross-border payments, FX, treasury, and collection needs. The Enterprise Sales Manager, based in London, is expected to operate with a high level of commercial maturity. They will engage directly with regulated institutions, fintechs, brokers, remittance companies, and mid-to-large enterprises transacting into Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Corridor Revenue Expansion: Identify UK/EU-based businesses with Africa exposure and convert them into enterprise customers, driving inbound FX and cross-border transaction flows into African markets.
- Institutional & Fintech Sales: Engage fintechs, remittance companies, brokers, and mid-sized financial institutions to secure high-value contracts with recurring volume.
- Complex Deal Structuring: Navigate regulatory, treasury, and liquidity considerations in cross-border flows, ensuring structured deals with strong margin profiles.
- Multi-Product Selling: Position payouts, collections, FX conversion, and treasury solutions holistically to increase deal sizes and diversify revenue.
- Forecast Discipline: Maintain accurate CRM and structured forecasting for reliable pipeline visibility and close predictability.
Market-Specific Competencies
- Experience selling financial infrastructure into regulated markets.
- Strong understanding of FCA-regulated environments.
- Familiarity with UK outbound-to-Africa flows.
- Comfort selling to CFOs, treasury teams, and regulated fintechs.
Role Alignment
This role directly supports the expansion of European-origin cross-border transaction volume into African markets and strengthens competitive positioning against Airwallex, Wise, Payoneer, and Verto in the UK corridor.
