[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Group Ltd, a leading supplier of tractors, grounds maintenance and garden machinery across the North of England, are recruiting a Trade Counter & Internal Parts Advisor to work in our recently refurbished parts department/showroom as part of an exciting redevelopment of our depot in Haydock.

The successful applicant’s duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Provide high-quality customer service at the trade counter and over the phone/email
  • Identify and supply parts to customers using electronic parts systems and supplier catalogues
  • Assist our internal workshop and service teams with accurate and timely supply of parts
  • Process and dispatch online sales orders for parts, accessories and garden machinery
  • Support the growth and improvement of our online parts shop: parts-shop.ggmgroup.com
  • Receive goods, inspect for accuracy, and allocate stock to correct binning locations
  • Pick and dispatch parts using courier systems, including FedEx
  • Maintain showroom presentation, ensuring a high standard of stocking, cleanliness, and visual display
  • Monitor and contribute to ongoing stock control and parts sourcing activities
  • Embrace new challenges and help drive continual improvement across the department

We are looking for:

  • A passion for customer service with a positive, professional attitude
  • Demonstrates consistent reliability and accountability when working independently and within a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude and the resilience to respond to challenges with urgency and professionalism
  • Good communication and IT skills, with the ability to navigate MS Office and online systems
  • Previous experience in a customer service, sales, or parts-based environment
  • Experience in the groundscare, plant or agricultural machinery industry (desirable)
  • Forklift truck experience (desirable)

Dependent on experience

Hours:

Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm (42.5 hours per week)
