About The Role

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are recruiting a Senior Escalator Technician to join our Heathrow team. This is a Grade 6, technical troubleshooter role for an experienced escalator professional who can diagnose complex faults, support engineers on site, and ensure safe and reliable operation in a high-profile airport environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advanced fault finding and troubleshooting on escalators
  • Technical support to field engineers and service teams
  • Major repairs, adjustments, and reliability improvements
  • Ensure compliance with [Employer hidden] safety standards and Heathrow procedures
  • Accurate reporting using [Employer hidden] digital systems
  • Support and mentor junior engineers

About You

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 4 in Escalator Engineering – essential
  • Strong escalator technical and electrical knowledge
  • Proven experience in complex diagnostics
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
  • Customer-focused with good communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence & ability to obtain Heathrow clearance
