[Employer hidden] is one of the most successful premium multi-franchise motorcycle dealership businesses in the North of England and franchised agents for Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki & Peugeot. We are looking for a conscientious and reliable individual to join our team here in Hull East Yorks as a Motorcycle PDI Technician.
You will be required to prepare and complete safety checks on new and used motorcycles ready for customer handover or delivery. Technical training will be provided to assist you, but the key attributes would be an eye for detail, the ability to follow a defined process, and the absolute care required to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
This opportunity could suit someone who is looking for that first step on the career ladder in the motorcycle industry, possibly someone with technical qualifications but with little or no dealership experience. It may also suit someone with technical experience from another background such as automotive, agricultural, engineering or indeed someone who perhaps considers themselves to be an enthusiastic hobby mechanic.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, be willing to learn, and be flexible in their approach to the role.
Essential
You must be a self-starter with a flexible can do attitude, have a good attention to detail and be able to work as part of a team. Must have an A2 licence as a minimum - full bike licence would be preferred.

The final salary awarded to the successful candidate will be linked to existing qualifications and experience. Full manufacturer-specific training will be provided as necessary together with the opportunity for potential career progression to fully qualified Motorcycle Technician.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections on motorcycles and scooters to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge and hand tools to perform necessary adjustments and repairs.
- Operate power tools safely and effectively during the inspection process.
- Lift and manoeuvre heavy components as needed to facilitate inspections.
- Document findings and communicate any issues to the service team for resolution.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year (dependant on qualifications & experience)

Work Schedule
Working hours are 8.30-17.30 Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 8.30- 19.00 Thursday (late nights only February to September) and 8.30-17.00 on Saturday.
