The Role...
As a Football Operations Executive for the Betfair Exchange, you will be part of a dynamic team that operates one of the most complex and innovative products in the betting industry. You will ensure the smooth functioning of the Exchange from market creation right through to issue resolution, making real-time decisions to enhance customer satisfaction and business performance. This position is a 12 month Fixed-term contract.
What you’ll do
- Form part of a team that takes full end to end ownership of their operational area, spanning market creation, live management, settlement, post-settlement issue resolution and retrospective reporting & analysis.
- Navigating the inherent challenge of a customer vs. customer product, where operational decisions often benefit one customer at the expense of another to make high quality decisions.
- Customer First Always – The customer is at the heart of everything you do. You’ll make decisions with the customer in mind and deliver amazing experiences.
- Innovate - Actively seek new ideas and collaborate with colleagues to improve internal processes and offer an innovative and exciting betting experiences to over 1 million customers.
- Problem Solving - The role demands a critical and solution-oriented problem solver, focused on continuously improving the experience of our customers refusing to accept the status quo.
- Collaborating across various departments, including Tech, Trading, Commercial, Customer Service, Product, Liquidity and Premium, to drive operational improvements.

- This role is shift work and includes evening and weekend shifts. Successful candidate would be required to attend the office 2 days a week.
