FULL DESCRIPTION

Senior Systems Developer

We are looking for a Senior Systems Developer to help the development, testing and delivery of all systems supported by our IT Development Team which include both internally developed and third-party systems across the Global [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Group.

Some of the work you will be involved with includes:

  • Develop programmes and processes for internally developed IT systems to deliver efficient business processes in all [Employer hidden] offices.
  • Produce and maintain documentation describing functionality, data flow and processes of [Employer hidden] systems. This documentation to be used for maintenance and development of systems and where applicable as a user guide.
  • Work on IT solutions that support regulatory reporting compliance for new and existing regulations among others EMIR, MAS, ASIC and more.
  • Ensure that connectivity between systems and databases integrating third party data sources and systems follow agreed [Employer hidden] IT Architecture strategy.
  • Support users in providing on-time reporting and error handling for all reporting jurisdictions.

About You

  • Significant programming experience using SQL Server Management Studio 2014 or higher/ T-SQL.
  • Experience working in the financial industry (buy or sell side) with good knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Must be comfortable with writing complex queries, views, functions and stored procedures.
  • Must be able to develop and maintain reports using SQL server reporting services (SSRS).
  • Familiar with ETL concepts and experience in building packages using SQL server integration services (SSIS).
  • Significant front-end development experience in C# and WinForms.
