Management Accountant
Basingstoke- Hybrid
Up to £50,000 per annum

A global operating organisation is seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join it’s finance function. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of core financial reporting activities, supervise team members, and play a key role in driving process improvement within a structured shared service environment. Reporting to a Finance Manager, the successful candidate will act as a key point of contact across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of month-end close activities across international entities
• Supervision of accounting activity and support of team members to meet deadlines and KPIs
• Review and ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and associated controls
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and audit deliverables
• Act as a key finance contact for regional and group stakeholders, supporting reporting and variance analysis
• Provide cover and leadership support in the absence of senior team members
• Drive process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and service quality
• Partner with stakeholders across the finance hub and wider business to improve ways of working

Key Attributes:

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Strong track record of delivering month-end close within complex environments
• Confident technical accountant with the ability to advise and problem-solve
• Previous experience supervising or mentoring others
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proactive, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
