Senior Accountant

Job description

You’ll manage a portfolio of clients while playing a central role in team leadership, client relationships, and business growth. Your responsibilities will include: ✔️ Statutory accounts preparation & review ✔️ Corporation tax, Self Assessment, VAT & payroll ✔️ Cloud bookkeeping and process improvement ✔️ Managing and training an offshore and onshore team ✔️ Leading client meetings and advisory conversations ✔️ Winning new clients and selling services ✔️ Gradually taking on responsibilities from the current partner

About You You’re commercially aware, confident with clients, and comfortable using technology. We’re looking for someone who:

• Is ACCA / CIMA / AAT fully or part-qualified
• Has strong UK practice experience across accounts & tax
• Is highly tech-savvy
• Has leadership experience (team management is a plus)
• Has a commercial mindset and enjoys growing relationships
• Is ambitious and looking for a long-term role with progression
• Is studying towards a tax qualification (advantageous)
