Senior Accounts Payable Clerk
Hemel Hempstead- Permanent
Salary- Up to £32,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all communications received into the Accounts Payable inbox efficiently and professionally
• Work closely with an international Accounts Payable Coordinator to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule
• Process Accounts Payable invoices with correct coding and submit them for workflow approval
• Monitor invoice approval queues to ensure timely processing
• Complete daily invoice uploads for food and drink suppliers
• Source and process utility invoices from supplier portals, ensuring correct accounting periods
• Process payment runs
• Handle ad-hoc payments in multiple currencies (including GBP, USD, and CAD)
• Reconcile supplier auto-debit payments
• Complete monthly supplier statement reconciliations
• Run aged creditor reports and investigate aged or debit balances
• Ensure new supplier documentation complies with company policies
• Oversee credit card transaction processing and reconcile the control account
• Review approved employee expense claims for policy compliance
• Raise Sales Ledger invoices and manage aged debt
• Provide cover for finance colleagues during annual leave
• Support internal and external audit requests
• Carry out additional tasks to support UK and international finance teams as required
