Financial Accountant Stevenage- Office Based 12 month FTC The Role Reporting to the Head of Group Reporting & Accounting, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across both UK and overseas entities. Your responsibilities will include: - Preparing management accounts. - Supporting monthly reporting processes for the UK business. - Completing daily and weekly bank reconciliations across £, $ and € accounts. - Managing sales ledger reconciliations and supporting invoice financing facility reporting. - Posting journals, bank transactions, charges, and reconciliations. - Maintaining the fixed asset register and preparing VAT returns. - Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations. - Assisting the Financial Controller in maintaining a robust control environment. The business goes through multiple acquisitions, no two months are the same - you'll need to bring adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset. Key Attributes - AAT qualified and/or studying towards CIMA/ACCA. - Experienced with control accounts and bank reconciliations. - Proactive, detail-focused, and professional in your approach. - A strong communicator who works well within a team and can support AR/AP monitoring.
