Job description
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] have partnered with a London-based Bank that is undertaking a significant transformation across its Finance function, and are seeking an experienced Transformation Programme Lead to shape and deliver this critical agenda on an 18 month FTC.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of the Finance Target Operating Model, including future-state organisation design, capability mapping, and workforce strategy.
- Drive end-to-end Finance transformation execution, including planning, governance, progress tracking, and reporting to senior stakeholders and the Group CFO.
- Oversee finance systems and control transformation, ensuring robust process documentation, regulatory compliance, and a strong control environment.
- Identify and implement efficiency opportunities through technology, automation, and AI, aligning systems capability with the future operating model.
- Shape and execute outsourcing and managed service transitions, including third-party selection, onboarding, SLA/KPI oversight, and supplier relationship management.
- Partner closely with Finance leadership, HR, Communications, and the wider transformation programme to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide change initiatives.
- Ensure all organisational, regulatory, and risk considerations are embedded within operating model redesign and workforce transition plans.
- Bring strong executive stakeholder engagement, structured change management expertise, and proven experience delivering complex Finance transformation in a regulated environment.
Experience required
- Proven experience leading large-scale Finance transformation programmes within FS
- Strong understanding of finance systems, data, and control frameworks, with the ability to leverage technology, automation, and AI to drive efficiency and strengthen governance.
- Demonstrated track record of managing third-party vendors and delivering outsourcing
- Experience partnering with executive-level stakeholders (e.g., CFO, Finance Directors) and influencing across complex, matrix organisations.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting Finance functions, with experience embedding robust risk, compliance, and control frameworks throughout transformation delivery.
