Our client, a national Technology leader, are looking to recruit 5 x IT Staging Technicians to join them on a Temporary basis, initially for 1-2 months with the potential for this to extend. The role will involve supporting with the testing and staging of IT tech, ready for deployment to customer installations. This role would suit someone with a good understanding of IT, computers, hardware and software, and someone looking to start a long-term career in tech, with lots of opportunities to go permanent for the right person. Due to location, candidates MUST have access to their own transport. What you'll be doing:

• Imaging, building, configuring and staging of IT systems (PC's/Network equipment/servers/cameras/tablets/hand-held devices) to ensure full functionality before deployment to customer project site.
• Supporting with software and firmware upgrades/downgrades (including routers, firewalls, and switches)
• Supporting with picking, packing, and dispatch of equipment to customer project sites.

What you'll need:

• Strong experience in IT / Computer systems including hardware & software.
• Great customer experience and ability to communicate positively.
• Positive, solutions focused approach to work tasks.
• Manually dextrous.
• Good understanding of health & safety in a work environment.
• Able to drive with access to own transport essential due to location.
• Able to pass a DBS check.
