Duties:
Direct vehicles and machinery on-site using clear hand signals or communication devices.
Ensure the safe movement of lorries, cranes, and other heavy equipment within the construction zone.
Assist with vehicle parking and loading/unloading operations as required.
Maintain clear communication with site personnel to coordinate traffic flow efficiently.
Follow all health and safety regulations to minimise risks on-site.
Monitor the site surroundings for potential hazards and report any concerns promptly.
Support other site activities as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction or related environments is essential.
An in date CSCS card and Traffic Banksman ticket is essential.
Strong communication skills in English, capable of understanding and conveying instructions clearly.
Good awareness of health and safety procedures relevant to construction sites.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and remain attentive for extended periods.
Organised, responsible, with a keen eye for detail to ensure safety standards are maintained at all times.
