Duties:

  • Direct vehicles and machinery on-site using clear hand signals or communication devices.

  • Ensure the safe movement of lorries, cranes, and other heavy equipment within the construction zone.

  • Assist with vehicle parking and loading/unloading operations as required.

  • Maintain clear communication with site personnel to coordinate traffic flow efficiently.

  • Follow all health and safety regulations to minimise risks on-site.

  • Monitor the site surroundings for potential hazards and report any concerns promptly.

  • Support other site activities as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction or related environments is essential.

  • An in date CSCS card and Traffic Banksman ticket is essential.

  • Strong communication skills in English, capable of understanding and conveying instructions clearly.

  • Good awareness of health and safety procedures relevant to construction sites.

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and remain attentive for extended periods.

  • Organised, responsible, with a keen eye for detail to ensure safety standards are maintained at all times.
