Job Title: Finishing Manager

Location: Manchester City Centre

Rate: £260–£280 per day (DOE)

Contract Type: Freelance / Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all internal and finishing trades on site.
  • Manage subcontractors delivering finishing works including drylining, joinery, flooring, decoration and final fixtures.
  • Ensure quality control of all finishing elements across multiple floors.
  • Monitor progress and ensure works are completed in line with programme deadlines.
  • Carry out snagging and de-snagging inspections.
  • Maintain strong health & safety standards across the site.
  • Work closely with the Site Manager and project team to ensure smooth delivery of the internal package.
  • Ensure high standards of workmanship prior to handover.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Finishing Manager on multi-storey new build projects.
  • Strong background managing internal trades and subcontractors.
  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • First Aid (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to drive quality on site.
