Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Boundary Cell Engineer to support a major defence aviation programme based in Lossiemouth.
The role will focus on configuring and managing Logistic Information Systems (LIS) to support aircraft maintenance, repair and supply chain operations. This is a highly detail-oriented role supporting the integration and maintenance of aircraft system structures within engineering support environments.
You will work closely with engineering teams and operational units to ensure system data is accurately configured and maintained to support aircraft sustainment activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and establish GOLDesp to support the full Bill of Materials (BOM), tooling and aircraft support structure
  • Enable maintenance, repair and supply chain management capability within the Logistic Information System
  • Support engineering teams in populating the Air System "As Maintained" structure
  • Provide support to programme progress review working groups
  • Ensure first-time quality through meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Work collaboratively with engineering and operational stakeholders to maintain system integrity and data quality

Essential Skills & Experience

  • LIS (GOLDesp) training or experience
  • Proven ability to deliver first-time quality with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work in a highly regulated defence environment
  • Eligible for UK SC Security Clearance (required from day one)

Desirable Experience

  • MJDI (Management of the Joint Deployed Inventory) experience
  • Experience supporting aircraft maintenance or logistics information systems
