Healthcare Assistant
Healthcare Assistant
As a Healthcare assistant, you will play a vital role in the care of patients. Working under the direction of more senior healthcare professionals, you will take care of the day-to-day needs of patients by providing help with personal care, meals and mobility.
- Carrying out a range of housekeeping duties
- Performing basic medical tasks, such as taking a patient’s temperature, pulse, respiration rate, administration of medication.
- Serving meals and helping to feed patients.
- Helping patients to move around.
- Talking to patients and making them comfortable.
- Providing support in maintaining personal care including infection prevention and control, personal hygiene and overall reassurance, comfort and safety
- Promoting positive mental, physical, nutritional health with patients.
Skills & Experience:
- Admirable Care experience
- Excellent ability to communicate, build and maintain interpersonal relationships
- Ability to demonstrate good personal qualities including a warm, Friendly and Cheerful disposition, caring and kind nature, Empathetic
- This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check
