Care Professional - [Employer hidden]

£14.00 - £15.50 / Hour (mileage and travel time paid)

Responsibilities 

Including but not limited to the following:

  • Ensure clients take their prescribed medication on time and safely
  • Support and assist clients who can’t move on their own
  • Help clients dress, undress, bathe, wash, eat etc.
  • Assist clients with physical therapy exercises
  • Assisting clients to manage their continence needs
  • Cook/prepare meals according to the client’s preferences
  • Ensure good nutrition and hydration
  • Help clients with their shopping or accompany clients whilst shopping
  • Taking clients out, to appointments or clubs/groups etc.
  • Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
  • Provide emotional support and ongoing companionship
  • Reporting to and informing supervisors/office or doctor about any issues, incidents, changes or uncommon events
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
  • Working within agreed ways of working, following the carer’s code of conduct and following company policies and procedures
  • Always obtaining consent and treating client’s with dignity and respect
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure communication and effective partnership with other agencies
