About the role:
We are looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer to join a growing design consultancy and
provide ongoing technical design support to a range of clients in the UK with ongoing work
available and excellent development opportunities for the right individual.
About you:
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years experience working for UK-based design consultancies, and a background working on similar projects is desired to ensure a close match to the existing and upcoming workload.
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of UK-based experience
- Chartered status with the IStructE or ICE
- Experience working with Steel, Concrete, Masonry and Timber materials
- Strength in working to British Standards, Eurocodes and relevant design guidance
- Strong analytical, communication and technical design skills
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
Software required:
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Office suite
