FULL DESCRIPTION

About the role: We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join a growing design consultancy and provide technical design support to a range of clients in the UK with ongoing work available and excellent development opportunities for the right individual. As a Structural Engineer you will be working on a range of residential, commercial and education projects and should be able to demonstrate experience in completing design on projects in these sectors.

About you:

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years experience working for UK-based design consultancies, and a background working on similar projects is desired in order to ensure a close match to the existing and upcoming workload. In addition to having a confident, commercial and professional outlook you should have:

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of UK-based experience
  • Experience working with Steel, Concrete, Masonry and Timber materials
  • Strength in working to British Standards, Eurocodes and relevant design guidance
  • Strong analytical, communication and technical design skills
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English

Software required:

  • AutoCAD
  • Microsoft Office suite
