JOB TITLE: Trainee Warehouse Technician

[Employer hidden] RF Services are looking for a Trainee Warehouse Technician  to join our Dartford-based team, supporting the preparation, management, and maintenance of equipment for use across some of the world’s biggest television broadcast events.

This role sits within a team responsible for the logistical and technical coordination of equipment used in live TV production. The successful applicant will also on occasion work closely with the Projects department, supporting larger, more complex jobs.​

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organise itemised equipment lists for live events
  • Check in and inspect equipment returning from events
  • Deliver and collect equipment to and from suppliers or event locations
  • Assist with testing of cables and devices, including PAT testing
  • Help with basic maintenance and repairs
  • Source equipment and parts from suppliers
  • Support stock control through checks and inventory management
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and workflow
  • Support equipment prep for larger project-based events​

Essential Skills:

  • Highly motivated with a willingness to learn
  • A full UK driving license
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings/weekends
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Other Beneficial Skills:

  • Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or broadcast support
  • PAT testing experience
  • Ability with basic hand tools and light repairs
  • Ability to maintain documentation and inventory records
