JOB TITLE: Trainee Broadcast Engineer – RF Services
[Employer hidden] RF Services are looking for a Trainee Broadcast Engineer to join our RF team of on-site technical crew, focusing on the delivery of wireless camera systems and specialist cameras into the broadcast industry. This role is based from Dartford UK
We are looking to expand our team of on-site Engineers & Technicians and invite candidates looking for a career in television outside broadcast to apply for the above position.
Trainee engineers will gain experience with our broadcast specific RF equipment on-site and in our equipment test areas at our base in Dartford, Kent.
Candidates with IT based qualifications and/or previous RF Engineering and wireless camera experience would be an advantage. However, we will also consider applicants with experience in areas such as mechanical/electrical engineering, electronics and broadcast engineering.
We provide full training on our equipment, procedures and health and safety.
Key responsibilities
- testing, maintaining and configuration of equipment.
- rigging and derigging of equipment at various outside broadcast locations.
- troubleshooting and fault-finding issues on site.
- driving to and from locations with equipment.
