FULL DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

- Mmanage network infrastructures to ensure optimal performance and reliability. - Monitor network traffic and proactively identify and address potential issues. - Conduct regular vulnerability assessments using tools like Tenable to identify and mitigate security risks. - Analyze scan results, prioritize vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations for remediation. - Develop and execute a comprehensive patch management strategy to keep systems up-to-date and protected against known vulnerabilities. - Configure and maintain firewall rules to enforce security policies and protect against unauthorized access. - Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures to effectively address security incidents. - Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, vulnerabilities, and remediation efforts. - Generate regular reports on vulnerability assessment findings and progress in remediation efforts. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of network security efforts with overall business objectives. - Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - In-depth knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools, with a strong emphasis on Tenable solutions. - Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks and best practices (e.g., CIS Controls, NIST Cybersecurity Framework). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Tenable Certified
