Trainee Customer Service Representative

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a full time Trainee Customer Service Representative. Working in a fast-paced office environment, you will provide administrative support to the Customer Services team while gaining hands on experience and developing your knowledge of our business systems and processes through structured on the job training. Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a full time Trainee Customer Service Representative.

Working in a fast-paced office environment, you will provide administrative support to the Customer Services team while gaining hands on experience and developing your knowledge of our business systems and processes through structured on the job training.

Duties include:

  • Providing administrative support to the Customer Services team
  • Answering and directing phones calls
  • Requesting and preparing certification for customers
  • Requesting proof of delivery paperwork
  • Preparing customer status reports and expedite requests
  • Maintaining customer and product data within systems
  • Facilitating quote and order inbox
  • Maintaining spreadsheets, reports, and other documentation
  • Assist with the preparation of quotes and orders

Working Hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • Flexible start time between 7.30am and 8.30am (3-week rota working 8.30am to 5pm)

Qualifications and Skills:

We are looking for someone who is reliable, proactive, and takes pride in their work.  The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to manage tasks efficiently in a busy office environment.

*Essential*

  • Math and English Nat 4 at grade 4/C or above
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word
  • Good communications skills, both written and verbal
